Irv and Cathy are wonderful people! The park is very clean, quite and safe! This is definitely where I will stay when I return here again! The lake view is great and they have pull thru and back in spots for 30 and 50 amp!
This RV Park has the best view of Grand Lake that I have seen. The quiet and peaceful setting. and the well kept and maintained grounds add to the atmosphere. Plenty of space and it's easy to pull in and park your RV. The owners are helpful and friendly. A great place to stay—and return— when in the Grand Lake area!
Great campground, Kathy & Erve, the owners are so nice & helpful. We stayed with them for 6 weeks as we were buying a house in the area. The campground was quiet & peaceful, the rates were inexpensive, the view beautiful and Erve is a walking encyclopedia of area knowledge. I Would highly recommend this csmpground but it's for adults only, no children allowed.
Be sure you check in before 4pm...it's a rule there. We called around 3pm to let them know we'd be late (5pm) but we didn't get there until 5:30pm and they were kind enough to let us stay anyway.
First off, the lady there (Jean?) was nice. She even hung around and helped insure that my RV hookups went smoothly. When we decided to leave after one day, she refunded my second day (paid in cash, received cash back) without my having to ask for it. The place is nothing special but for $25 per night for a back-in full hookup you can't complain and I understand that the bass fishing on the lake is phenomenal. The place is pretty large and there was hardly an RV there...possibly indicative of the miserably hot and humid weather we experienced in mid-July.
