Went here on September 23rd and asked if I could substitute fries for coleslaw and was told that they were not allowed to do that. Really? With such a small selection to begin with it was pretty annoying, we were told it was too hard for the kitchen to manage substitutions. There were only 2 tables there! We miss the old atmosphere, needs the band back! Our waitress was very good!
Has a nice face lift, but marginal. I liked the atmosphere of island joe's better. They need to get a band and make it like a lake place. IJ's service was always good too. They always seemed to have a bucket of beer in front of you.
Went there once and food was OK. Then went the second time and couldn't get wait staff to come over to our table so we walked out after waiting about 20 minutes. Miss Island Joes and won't be going back for a very long time. Looks like it might already be going downhill.
Great location and fun to sit out above the water. Kids can feed the fish and they'll give you old bread to feed them. Only 4 starts because the food was just ok.
On our first visit here we were astounded by how much it had changed from the previous restaurant that was here. We ordered the Taco Trio platter, which lets you choose three of Eddy's five very different tacos, all of which we found delicious. The new design of Eddy's definitely nails the ambiance of a lake restaurant. Bonus points for absolutely fantastic unsweetened tea and excellent outdoors seating.
