Didn't camp there but it looked fine. We enjoyed the paved hiking/walking trail.
Great place to tent camp on Grand Lake. The gust is so good and the views from our tent were amazing. It felt like being at the ocean. Bathrooms are decent and clean. Very dog friendly with trails along the lake. It also has good cell service. Nice Saloon nearby where we ate and watched a football game. Very nice area.
Nice, quiet, peaceful camping facility. The host on duty on the weekend were very helpful to us. They also have extensive knowledge of the area. If you have kids, be sure to ask the park ranger who comes around every 45 minutes for smokey the bear stickers and badges. Bernice PD also patrols the grounds.
Great place. Had some issues with our electric box. They finally fixed it on the day we were leaving.
We were the first to camp after the park was opened on June 14, 2017. The camp host was very courteous, as was the young lady who was working the nature center. She had several activities planned for kiddos each day we were there; my boys loved it. The fishing was great, and there was plenty of shady spots to tent camp, or park your RV. The only down side was the shower houses were always full of bugs and spiders, which I understand there would be more due to location, but someone could still come and sweep them out every now and then.
